Submission of Stories and ArticlesStories and articles submitted to BeNotAfraid.net are published after review for minor edits of grammar or punctuation. We reserve the right to edit stories and articles before publication on our website for prudential reasons, as well. We are very grateful to all our contributors and desire to work with them to produce appropriate material for BeNotAfraid.net.
Submission GuidelinesAll material, including photos, should be submitted through email to info@benotafraid.net. We don't limit stories and articles by word count, but typically if they run too long, we will ask the contributor to make edits or allow us to make edits to affect the overall length. We also prefer that contributors title their stories, but we are happy to assist with that.
With regard to content, while not all stories and articles will reflect a Catholic perspective, they may not disparage or overtly conflict with the Catholic perspective regarding sanctity of life, or medical/reproductive ethics. Because of this ethical commitment, we are unable to publish stories that feature the use of in vitro fertilization, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, and selective reduction. Thanks to all our potential contributors for being mindful of these content conditions. We are happy to clarify these basic content guidelines if the need arises.
